Neighbourhood Watch Scheme

This is a National Organisation which operates in conjunction with the Police Forces throughout the United Kingdom.

The aim of the organisation is to promote awareness and to issue personal safety advice to all members in our society.

These are promoted in our Area by Suffolk Constabulary supported by our Local Safer Neighbourhood Team, Police Connect, Horse Watch and the Neighbourhood Alert organisation.

There are three schemes operating throughout Worlington Village.

Their primary aim is to

• distribute Police information updates concerning crimes within West Suffolk, and appeals for witnesses
• issue advice and safety literature
• act as the focal point for any general concerns that Residents may have concerning Policing matter.
